Updated March 15, 2004 Science 9 classes at the school have signed up for the Sky Scan project starting in the fall of 2003. March 12, 2004 - Antenna and meteor detector were installed at the school.
Sky Scan volunteer Guy Almberg installs a three-element Yagi antenna on the roof of Hillcrest School, 16400 - 80 Avenue. The eighth detector in the Sky Scan Array will be known simply as Sky Scan 8 until students in Cheryl Devin's Science 9 classes come up with a suitable moniker for their new radio observatory. |
